I photographed women in New York who prostituted themselves on the community site, Craigslist.org. I incorporated the performance of paying each of them a fee equivalent to that of any other client, but in return used them as a nude subject for 10 minutes or less. The online accessibility, anonymity, and the emotionless state of these women I feel reflected a common state of existence for several New Yorkers.
