When I Existed
I collaborated with two other artists in NYC, creating a large-scale exhibition in an abandoned derelict space in downtown New York. All works were created in direct relation to the history, location, and aesthetic of the space, and installed in an integrated fashion, challenging the traditional exhibiting and viewing methodology. I installed mirrors with mounted photographic images of my refection. Additionally I left the clothing I wore in this bathroom. This is an intimate piece that touches on a desire to come to terms with the reality that my body is not my own, nor are my belongings.
